Classic Flavors and Unique Albuquerque Blends
After water, tea is the most widely consumed beverage in the world. Tea’s delicious flavor is a product of nature, not chemistry. And at Hadley’s Tea, we keep it that way, offering a wide variety of all-natural teas.
The History of Tea
Legend has it that the first cup of tea was discovered by accident. A strong wind blew leaves into a Chinese monk’s pot of boiling water. Without knowing that the leaves were steeping, the monk drank the water, pleasantly surprised by the new flavor.
Of course, there is no way to know how tea was first discovered, but it is largely agreed that the first tea was grown, brewed and consumed in China. It spread to Europe by merchants who had ventured to the Far East.
Carrying on the Tradition
The first cup of tea was made of nothing more than tea leaves and water, and at Hadley’s Tea, all-natural leaves are what we offer so that you can brew your perfect cup. Every tea we carry is all-natural, which means our teas are:
