Information:
It all started in 17th century Italy with the discovery of a
particularly fragrant type of Orange Blossom. Over the
ensuing centuries, the blossoms came to symbolize the Western
ideal of love and marriage and their popularity grew. In
Victorian England, orange blossom bouquets were so popular the
flowers were imported from Florida strictly for that
purpose.
This blend was created using s semi-fermented oolong from
Taiwan known for a lively full flavor with hints of berry jam
and sweet floral undertones. A mix of
jasmine and dried orange pieces have been added. Rounding
out the blend is a Ceylon black tea for some added
depth.
Hot Brewing Method:
Bring freshly drawn cold water to just before a boil. Place 1
teaspoon of tea for each cut in the teapot. Pour your hot water
over the leaves. Let steep for 3-7 minutes according to taste
(The longer the steeping time the stronger the tea). Add milk
and sugar to taste.
Iced tea brewing method:
Place 6 teaspoons of tea into a teapot or heat resistant
pitcher. Pour 1 1/4 cups of very hot water over to
tea. Steep for 5 minutes. Pour the tea into your
serving pitcher straining the leaves. Add
ice.
